This printer is too sensitive. I hate when I sometimes print a document and wait for several minutes to pick it up off the printer but no copies. Then I have to get up and push a button in order for it to print. In addition, when printing on paper other that regular white copy paper i.e. glossy, card stock paper it is a inconvenience to have to get up and tell the printer what type of paper I'm using and then it does print it jams the copier. It is NOT user friendly.(Global Review)
The final product is great! No regrets about finally replacing my old Phaser Wax Ink printer. However, this machine is really specific and picky!! Your paper selections on the printer have to match the paper 'type' you are sending or things won't print. And, having the right 'type' of paper selected on the printer can affect how the final print job looks and it helps avoid issues! You just might need a PhD in Xerox-Printerese! But, once you figure all of that out then it's a FABULOUS MACHINE!!! LO(Global Review)
Phenomenal printer works great in our small to medium size office, printing approx 3000 pages per month. The machine just works and handles any job from large to small with ease. So far we are extremely happy with the C605 and it has been well worth it. Print quality is great. The finisher/stapler works well too. The only issue I have is when purchasing a machine, there is little accurate info on the internet regarding the different types of machines and accessories. It would be wise to use a xerox dealer so they can contact xerox directly with your questions. For instance I bought a stand, but it was unclear which stand will fit and the dimensions are shipping dimensions online, not the actual dimensions. Also, some models do not fit a finisher, but some retail outlets sell a model that has the incorrect picture and description. So just make sure you do your homework, (which in my case was a lot of hours, earning me an A).(Global Review)
We are generally enjoying our new VersaLinkC605 - it prints high-quality documents quickly, has readily usable scan-to features, holds tons of paper, and makes toggling to the bypass tray for special jobs easy. After a power outage, it seemed to have lost some of its settings, but when they were set the way we wanted them, it was so easy to use. It often has trouble identifying paper size when scanning or copying and has limited compatibility with labels. Although we set the printer to the label function, it cannot seem to adhere to the template we've used (and used without issue on other devices), skewing the alignment of the verbiage throughout the page of labels. We do a lot of label printing, so that is a real bummer. Otherwise, it's a powerhouse, and we love how little attention it needs - it's nice not having a "diva" of a printer anymore!(Global Review)
The versalink is so well fitted that you can print, copy and scan from many different users, locations and through a variety of methodologies. While it takes a bit of time with the instruction manual, once set up this is a very reliable piece of machinery and we are very happy with it(Global Review)

We've had this VersaLink C605 in our office for only a short time but the amount of time it has worked has been even shorter. Not sure if the problem is with the printer itself or with the setup but it seems to have been out of service more often than in.(Global Review)
If you have a small business that you require a good printer/copier/fax/scanner ect. you will be very pleased with the Xerox Versalink 605. Not only is it incredibly user friendly, but it prints vibrant color and is incredibly easy to replace ink cartridges on. You will absolutely come to love using this printer compared to others.
