Xerox named one of Corporate Knights’ 100 Most Sustainable Corporations for second year in a row

Xerox’s deep-seated commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) has earned us a spot once again on Corporate Knights’ list of the 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World. This year, Xerox made the prestigious global list coming in at No. 26—a significant jump from last year’s rank of No. 70.

“This ranking is an incredible accomplishment for our entire organization and testament to the company’s ability to deliver on its sustainability goals,” said Michele Cahn, vice president of Global Government Affairs, Sustainability, Citizenship & Compliance at Xerox. “Last year, we released our net-zero roadmap and continued to make strides within our business and supply chains to be better environmental stewards. From focusing on lowering emissions through technologies such as CareAR to achieving ENERGY STAR® and EPEAT registration for all of our new, eligible products, Xerox continues to lead and champion a culture of sustainability and social responsibility.”

Achieving these ambitious goals put Xerox ahead of nearly 7,000 other companies that made the Corporate Knights list, which considers factors like clean revenue from products, waste reduction, carbon use, and energy intensity.

Last year, Xerox announced it accelerated its net zero goal by 10 years, establishing a new goal of 2040. Learn more about Xerox’s corporate social responsibility efforts in our most recent Corporate Social Responsibility report.
